Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

Dejam Consults respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, and the message you write.
  • Newsletter: your email address and which newsletter you chose (land, tax, or both).
  • Technical data: basic request information such as your IP address, used only for security and to stop spam. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver our services (your consent, and steps taken at your request before a contract).
  • To send the Plotlines newsletter to people who subscribed (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • To protect the website from abuse and spam (our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe).

Who sees it

Only the Dejam Consults team. We use trusted service providers to run the site: hosting (Vercel), our database (Supabase) and email delivery (Resend). They process data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up, unless you become a client, in which case client record rules apply. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Unsubscribing

To stop receiving the newsletter, reply to any newsletter email or write to [email protected] and we will remove you.

Cookies

The public pages use no tracking or advertising cookies. We store one preference in your browser (light or dark theme). Staff who sign in to manage the site receive a sign-in cookie that is needed for them to stay signed in.
